Rising Star Sessions in Maidstone offer specialist early years support for children aged 2 to 4 years. Delivered at the Maidstone Community Support Centre, these small group meetings use syndrome specific approaches to learning to build essential skills in a supportive setting. The programme is ideal for parents who want practical strategies to help their child progress with literacy, numeracy, self-help and social emotional development.
Each session focuses on hands-on activities and targeted resources that parents can use at home to continue learning beyond the group. Pre-school and nursery staff are welcome to attend and observe so that strategies can be embedded across home and educational settings. The sessions emphasise understanding individual learning profiles and sharing approaches that bring the most benefit to each child.
Groups run every Tuesday, excluding school holidays, from 21 April 2026 to 19 May 2026 as part of Term 5. Sessions take place between 09:45 and 14:00, with each session lasting one hour. Your specific session time will be confirmed by email after booking. The venue address is MCSC, 39-48 Marsham Street, Maidstone, ME14 1HH.
These Rising Star Sessions are suitable for parents, carers and early years professionals looking for practical, evidence-informed support for young children with syndrome specific learning needs. Attendees will leave with activity ideas and resources to support development at home and in childcare settings.
