2-4 years (Maidstone) - Rising Star Sessions — 21 Together

Little Stars is a friendly social and communication group in Maidstone for babies aged 0 to 2 years. Led by 21 Together’s Education team, these sessions focus on building early communication and interaction skills, including Makaton signing, interaction techniques, early physical skills and emotional support. Families and carers will also have the chance to socialise with other parents and to ask questions about development in a supportive environment.

Sessions are tailored to work on the strengths and needs of a baby with Down's syndrome and provide syndrome specific advice and practical strategies for everyday life. The programme runs every other week on a Tuesday from 21.04.26-14.07.26 for Term 3, with sessions running from 12:45 to 13:45 at Maidstone Community Support Centre, 38 Marsham Street, Maidstone, ME14 1HH. Sessions are one hour long and are designed to be practical and friendly for both babies and their families. Cost is £15 per session (£90 for the six session programme) payable at the start of the programme, and financial support is available for those who need it.
