Rising Star Sessions for 2 to 4 year olds in Maidstone provide focused, syndrome specific approaches to early learning that support literacy, numeracy, self-help and social and emotional development. Each group is designed to give young children practical, engaging activities that build key skills while giving parents clear strategies and resources to continue learning at home. Pre-school and nursery staff are welcome to observe sessions so they can adopt successful strategies in their own settings.
Groups run every Tuesday (excluding school holidays) for Term 3 from 6 January to 10 February 2026. Sessions are one hour long and take place within the wider day between 09:45 and 14:00; your specific session time will be confirmed by email. The sessions are based at the Maidstone Community Support Centre on Marsham Street, Maidstone, ME14 1HH.
Families will receive practical resources and guidance to reinforce progress between sessions, and the project aims to spread understanding of the learning profile for children with syndromes so benefits are seen across home and early years settings. Whether you are a parent looking for supportive, targeted early years provision or an early years practitioner seeking to learn new approaches, these sessions offer structured, evidence informed activities that help children reach their potential in a friendly community setting.
