About this event
The organisers will meet everyone at 11 am outside Café Lumiere in Rochester before setting off together. The route heads through Strood, Ranscombe Farm Nature Reserve and into Cobham Woods, making its way towards the historic Mausoleum where there will be a 30–45 minute break.
The walk to Cobham Woods should take around an 1hr - 1.5hrs and the whole morning is expected to take around 3 hours. It’s roughly a 10K round trip and this isn't a serious hiking expedition. Depending on the weather, parts of the route may be muddy or uneven, so trainers should be fine. Bring some water. The organiser will bring along some sweets to share along the way. The walk itself is free; the £4.50 Eventbrite registration simply helps cover the costs of organising and hosting the event.
