The group meets at 11am outside Café Lumiere in Rochester and walks through Strood, Ranscombe Farm Nature Reserve and into Cobham Woods, making their way towards the historic Mausoleum 🌳
The walk to Cobham Woods should take around an 1hr - 1.5hrs, with a 30–45 minute break at the Mausoleum, and the whole morning expected to take around 3 hours. It’s roughly a 10K round trip. Parts of the route may be muddy or uneven, so trainers should be fine. Bring some water and anything else you might want for the break at the Mausoleum. The walk itself is free, the £4.50 Eventbrite registration simply helps cover the costs of organising and hosting the event. The walk finishes back around Café Lumiere.
