About this event

Join a friendly group of local singles for a relaxed 20s and 30s social walk around St Marys Island in Chatham, Medway. This short, scenic route takes in estuary views, the boardwalk, basin and marina, making it a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning meeting new people over conversation and coffee. The walk is informal and unpressured, perfect if you want fresh air, gentle exercise and the chance to chat in a low-key setting.

We will meet by Sabaho, the horse box coffee stop on Dockside, where you can grab a hot drink or a Lebanese-inspired treat before we set off. The route is around 4 to 5 km and should take under an hour at a comfortable pace. We will finish back near the Dockside Outlet area, and anyone who fancies staying for another coffee or a bite to eat is very welcome to do so, though there is no obligation.

Places are limited, so please register in advance. The walk itself is free, and a small Eventbrite registration fee of £4.50 helps cover organising and hosting costs. Whether you are new to Chatham or just looking to expand your social circle, this relaxed stroll is an easy way to meet people and enjoy the riverside scenery.
