4-7 years (Maidstone) - Shooting Stars — 21 Together

Shooting Stars is a specialist group for children aged 4 to 7 in Maidstone run by 21 Together. Using syndrome specific approaches to learning, the sessions focus on building literacy and numeracy alongside self-help and social-emotional skills. Activities are designed around each childs learning profile so that practical strategies can be modelled and practised in a small group setting.

Groups run every other Saturday (excluding school holidays) for Term 3, from 25 April 2026 to 18 July 2026. The programme takes place at the Maidstone Community Support Centre, 39-48 Marsham Street, Maidstone, ME14 1HH. The centre operates between 09:00 and 17:00 on group days and individual sessions are one hour long. Your specific session time will be confirmed by email.

Resources are provided to parents to continue learning opportunities at home and school staff are invited to meet the child and observe the strategies before the start of the school year. Team working is at the heart of the project so that more people who understand the childs learning profile can support progress and share effective approaches across home and school.
