Shooting Stars in Maidstone is a specialist group for children aged 4 to 7 years, using syndrome specific approaches to learning to build literacy, numeracy, self-help and social emotional skills. Delivered at the Maidstone Community Support Centre, these sessions are designed to support school readiness and to give parents practical strategies and resources to continue learning at home.
Groups run every other Saturday for Term 3, from 25.04.26 to 18.07.26 (excluding school holidays). Sessions operate between 09:00 and 17:00 and each child will be allocated a one hour session time which will be confirmed by email. The project places team working at its heart so children, parents and school staff can share understanding of learning profiles and begin using the same strategies before the school year starts.
School staff are invited to meet the child and observe the approaches used, helping to create consistency between home and school. Parents receive tailored resources and guidance to reinforce progress outside sessions. The venue is MCSC, 39-48 Marsham Street, Maidstone ME14 1HH. If you are looking for a calm, structured environment where your child can develop essential skills with specialist support, Shooting Stars offers focused, practical sessions for families in the Maidstone area.
