7-11 years (Maidstone) - Super Star Sessions — 21 Together

Super Star Sessions in Maidstone support children aged 7 to 11 years in developing speech, language and social communication skills in a small group setting. These speech therapy led groups are designed for children with Down's syndrome who benefit from targeted, term-based activities that build self-awareness, confidence, and socially appropriate behaviour while encouraging meaningful friendships and conversations.

Each term focuses on a new topic to make learning practical and engaging. Topics have included all about me, relationships, community, time, language for identity and transitions. The groups are intended to complement individualised speech programmes and provide extra opportunities to practise social skills in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Groups run every other Saturday, excluding school holidays, for Term 3 from 02.05.26 to 11.07.26. Sessions take place at MCSC, 39-48 Marsham Street, Maidstone ME14 1HH. The centre is open between 09:00 to 17:00 on group days and each child attends a one hour session. Exact session times are confirmed by email after booking. These small groups offer a friendly space for children to grow their communication skills with therapy-led activities and peer support.
