Super Star Sessions in Maidstone are small, speech therapy-led groups for children aged 7 to 11 years who benefit from focused support with speech and language and social communication. Designed for children with Down's syndrome and those who need small-group work, these sessions prioritise conversations, friendships and practical social skills in a friendly, inclusive setting.
Each term is topic based to make learning engaging and relevant. Topics include all about me, relationships, community, time, language for identity and transitions. Sessions support self-awareness, awareness of others and socially appropriate behaviour while complementing any individualised speech programmes your child already has in place. Activities are delivered by experienced staff who create a safe environment for children to practise new skills and build confidence.
Term 3 runs every other Saturday from 2 May 2026 to 11 July 2026, excluding school holidays. The venue is Maidstone Community Support Centre, 39-48 Marsham Street, Maidstone ME14 1HH. The centre operates between 09:00 and 17:00 on group days and individual sessions last one hour; your specific session time will be confirmed by email. For parents and carers looking for structured, therapy-led social communication support in Maidstone, Super Star Sessions offer an inclusive, fun and practical programme to help children thrive.
