Join the A249 Detling Diner Sunday Meet during its trial period on the third Sunday of each month. This friendly community gathering brings together locals and visitors at the newly reopened Detling Diner, offering a relaxed place to meet, chat and enjoy classic diner hospitality in Maidstone.

The diner is at A249, Detling, Maidstone ME14 3HT and reopened on Wednesday 5 November after an electrical fire forced a temporary closure. The relaunch drew strong local support, with up to 100 people attending in the opening days, and the Sunday Meet is returning as an addition to the Region 17 calendar.

Prior to the fire, the diner was a regular venue for HDRCGB Region 17 mid month Sunday meets. While some meets relocated to The Stag of the second Sunday, that event will continue and Detling Diner will now feature as a popular extra venue. Over recent years the diner has also been used as a filming location for TV and film productions, including Netflix's The Gentlemen and ITV's Joan, so it has a strong local profile as well as a warm community atmosphere.
