Overview

Join the Friends of Milton Creek Country Park for an Amphibian Survey at Milton Creek Country Park. Come along and search for Great Crested newts and other amphibians; they will be putting on a show in the water to attract a mate. Meet at Green Porch Close and explore the ponds that have been created and are being managed to encourage these and other amphibians and insects.

Bring wellies and a torch and learn more about the Great Crested Newts. The event is suitable for families and nature enthusiasts and is ideal for anyone who wants to get involved with local conservation. Children under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

This is a donation event, with all monies raised going to the Friends of Milton Creek to make improvements to the park and to support future events. If you would like to book more than one place please adjust your donation when booking and reply to the confirmation email with the number in your party. Please book early to secure your place and join local volunteers in observing and protecting pond life.
