Beginners Birdwatching

Join a gentle Beginners Birdwatching Walk at Riverside Country Park in Rainham and discover the coastal wildlife as the seasons change this Easter Holidays. Suitable for anyone with an interest in birds, these guided strolls welcome complete beginners as well as more experienced birders. The route follows the waters edge along a fairly flat out and back pathway, with opportunities to stop and observe the birds we encounter.

Please meet outside the visitor centre in the main car park on Lower Rainham Road, Rainham. There is paid parking on site and the location has toilet facilities and a cafe for refreshments before or after the walk. Paths can be muddy after rain so suitable footwear is recommended. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead to avoid disturbing wildlife.

The walk is free to attend but spaces are limited, so booking in advance is advised to avoid disappointment. Final confirmation and any practical instructions will be emailed 24 hours before the walk.
