Faversham Road, Seasalter, Whitstable, CT5 4BW

Overview

Join a gentle beginners birdwatching walk along the Seasalter coastline and discover the rich coastal wildlife of the area. Perfect for anyone new to birdwatching or for more experienced birders who want a relaxed stroll with time to stop and observe. The walk takes place over the Easter Holidays and offers a friendly introduction to spotting and identifying local seabirds, waders and other shore visitors.

Meet at Seasalter Sailing Club on Faversham Road where there is paid parking nearby. The route is an out-and-back along the sea wall with fairly flat paths, though they can become muddy after rain so please wear suitable footwear. There are toilet facilities a short walk from the meeting point and a local cafe close by if you want something warm afterwards. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead to avoid disturbing wildlife.

The walk is free to attend but spaces are limited, so please book your place in advance to avoid disappointment. Final confirmation and any practical instructions will be emailed around 24 hours before the event. Whether you are starting out or sharpening your skills, this Seasalter birdwatching walk is a great way to enjoy fresh air and learn more about the coast's birdlife.
