Join BWAG for the popular Bluebells and Cream Tea Weekend on 25th and 26th April and enjoy a springtime stroll through Bredhurst Woods. Meet at 2pm for guided walks that showcase carpets of bluebells and the woodlands in full bloom, followed by home-made cream teas served in the Blacksmith's Community Barn, Bredhurst ME7 3JU.
Walk options suit different abilities: a short route of around 3km taking about an hour, and a longer route of approximately 5.5km taking about two hours. Guides will lead each group, offering local insight into the flora and fauna as you explore the woodland paths.
Tickets are priced at A310.00 per person and must be purchased in advance, with no ticket sales on the day. Children under 16 go free, and dogs on leads are welcome, making this a great family-friendly spring outing.
Please park in St Peter's Church car park on Hurstwood Road, noting that only blue badge holders may park at the barn. Wear sturdy footwear and come prepared for changing weather under the trees.
