This face-to-face, two-hour workshop at the Birthing Centre is designed to support people who have had a traumatic or difficult breastfeeding experience. Led by the Perinatal Mental Health Midwife together with the Infant Feeding team from MTW Trust, the session offers time and space to acknowledge breastfeeding grief and trauma and to receive specialist-led support.
The workshop is aimed at those seeking understanding, reassurance and practical guidance about feeding after a challenging experience. Delivered in person, it brings together clinical expertise in perinatal mental health and infant feeding to address the emotional as well as practical aspects of breastfeeding recovery.
Attendees can expect a calm, professionally led environment where the focus is on compassionate care and informed discussion about breastfeeding difficulties. This session is particularly relevant for people who want to explore their experience and consider next steps with input from midwifery and infant feeding specialists. For full details on dates, times and how to book, please consult the event organiser listed on the event page.
