Fri, 10 Apr 2026 08:30 AM - 14:30 PM

Sheppey Healthy Living Centre Off The Broadway, Sheerness, ME12 1HH

Overview

Join a practical four-day workshop at Sheppey Matters designed to build on community strengths and turn local ideas into action. This hands-on programme brings together residents, volunteers and community workers to explore approaches that empower local voices, strengthen neighbourhood networks and create lasting positive change. Across the four sessions you will connect with others, share experience and develop practical skills for community-led projects, from planning and collaboration to delivering activities that genuinely benefit people in your area.

The workshop is collaborative and interactive, with facilitated exercises, group problem solving and opportunities to test ideas in a supportive environment. Attending each session is part of the full experience and you will leave with clear next steps, shared resources and new contacts to help take community action forward. Please note: this workshop is open to residents of Swale only. Whether you are a local volunteer, community organiser or simply keen to make a difference where you live, this course offers practical tools and encouragement to help your community thrive. Spaces are limited, so book early to secure your place and be part of a local programme focused on teamwork, strengths and real results for Sheppey and the wider Swale area.
