Castle Trails 30km

Join the Castle Trail 30km, launching in 2026 as part of the Three Castles 50km Ultra weekend. This point-to-point trail run follows the River Medway from Little Fant Farm, East Farleigh to Tonbridge, offering flat, scenic and very runnable terrain. After a short trail section out of the farm you will soon reach the stone bridge at East Farleigh, then pass through Teston Country Park, Wateringbury and Yalding, with riverside paths, locks and watersport activity to admire. The course finishes with views of historic Tonbridge Castle before a final 5km and a memorable lap of the athletics track.

The event is ideal for those building towards ultras, testing pace over a shorter distance, or enjoying a long day out on the trails. There are two fully stocked checkpoints plus one water only stop, a finisher medal for those within the 8 hour cut off, and shower, changing and food and drink facilities at the finish. Race registration opens at 08:30 and closes at 10:00, with a final race briefing at 10:15 and a 10:30am start on Saturday 30 May 2026. Runners must be 18 or over and wear visible bibs; the event operates strict checkpoint and cut off rules. Optional shuttle bus tickets from Tonbridge to the start cost £12. Free parking is available for those staying for the start only; a £2 charge applies if you leave your car at the start for the duration of the race.
