Christmas Grotto at Fort Amherst

Bring the family to the Christmas Grotto at Fort Amherst for a magical festive experience in Chatham. Running across eleven days in late November and December, sessions are held on 28 and 29 November and on 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 December with three sittings each day at 10:00, 12:00 and 14:00. The experience lasts approximately 90 minutes and takes place within the atmospheric setting of Britain?s biggest Napoleonic fort, complete with underground tunnels and historic cannons.

Children can help the elves sort the naughty and nice list, decorate baubles and biscuits, enjoy storytime with Mrs Claus, and spend personal time with Santa, who will give each child a gift. Every child also receives a Christmas lunchbox with a selection of sandwiches, crisps and a drink, while grown-ups can relax with a complimentary cup of tea or coffee. Photographs are welcome throughout at no extra cost, and one vehicle per booking receives complimentary parking.
