Cook Stars at Faversham Umbrella offers weekly cookery adventures for children aged 2 to 11. Sessions are hands-on, creative and confidence-building, introducing little chefs to flavours and ingredients from around the world in a playful, age-appropriate way. Classes run in the downstairs cafe area at Faversham Umbrella, Court Street, Faversham, Kent, ME13 7AT.
Through cooking and crafting, children develop practical life skills such as measuring, mixing, following instructions, problem solving and kitchen safety, while also practising social skills like sharing, turn-taking, teamwork and communication. Every session combines simple recipes with arts and crafts so toddlers and older children can join in, feel successful and explore food, texture and taste at their own pace. Activities are planned to suit different age groups so everyone can take part and make new friends in a relaxed, playful setting.
Term tickets are available from £15.00 per class and Cook Stars also offers cookery-themed birthday parties for a memorable, hands-on celebration. Bookings are taken via Happity and payments are processed securely by Stripe. The venue is a thriving community hub with wheelchair access and an infant and disabled toilet on the ground floor.
