Join a practical two-day course on the measurement of the properties and bulk behaviour of particulate materials at the University of Greenwich campus in Medway, Kent on 20 to 21 October 2026. Designed for plant operators, designers, managers and maintenance staff, the course explains powder flowability, common handling problems and the measurement methods used in industry.
Delegates will explore a range of measurement techniques that connect laboratory data to real-world plant performance, including testing for degradation and friability, caking and agglomeration, and Mechanical Surface Energy Testing (MSET). Practical sessions take place in the on-site pilot plant so you can see equipment in use and discuss operational and troubleshooting issues directly with the presenters.
The course is led by Dr Vivek Garg with contributions from the Wolfson Centre team, including Professor Mike Bradley, Dr Baldeep Kaur and Dr Atul Sharma. Fees start from £795 for early bird bookings by 30 June 2026, with the standard fee at £915 and a discounted rate of £825 for returning delegates or group bookings. Online registration closes on 8 October 2026 and payment is available via the on-line shop. This practical, industry-focused programme will help you select appropriate measurement methods and improve handling and design decisions for bulk solids applications.
Tickets can be purchased via this third-party website.
