Death Cafe

Thu, 07 May 2026 12:30 PM - 14:00 PM

Alexander Centre, The, 15-17 Preston St, Faversham, ME13 8NZ

Overview

Join Death Cafe at The Alexander Centre for an open, friendly conversation about life, death and everything in between over a cup of coffee. This informal gathering creates a safe, relaxed space to explore questions about mortality, share personal reflections and hear different perspectives in a supportive atmosphere.

Topics often include end-of-life planning, funeral traditions, cultural attitudes to dying and how we want to be remembered. Whether you are curious, grieving, planning ahead or simply want to think more deeply about what matters, the conversation is guided by respect and listening rather than expert instruction. You do not need prior knowledge to take part and contributions are welcomed from people of all ages and backgrounds.

Death Cafe offers a chance to break a taboo and normalise talking about death with others in your community. Bring your thoughts, your questions or just your willingness to listen and connect. Places can be limited so check the event listing for details and join a calm, thoughtful discussion at The Alexander Centre.
