Thu, 19 Mar 2026 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Alexander Centre, The, 15-17 Preston St, Faversham, ME13 8NZ

Overview

Join us at Death Cafe for an open, respectful conversation about life, death and everything in between. Hosted at The Alexander Centre, this informal gathering invites people from all walks of life to talk through their thoughts, fears and questions about mortality over a cup of coffee. The aim is to create a safe, relaxed space where no topic is off limits and everyone is free to listen or share.

Conversations may touch on end of life planning, funeral traditions, grief, legacy and how we want to live now. There is no agenda, no pressure and no professional counselling provided. Instead, expect thoughtful dialogue, gentle curiosity and a community of people who want to break the taboo around death and death-related topics.

Whether you are simply curious, supporting someone through bereavement, exploring your own wishes or looking for a community space to reflect, Death Cafe offers a chance to normalise these important conversations. The Alexander Centre provides an accessible, welcoming setting for this group, and all are welcome to attend. Come with questions, memories or simply an open mind, and leave having connected with others who are willing to talk about what matters most.
