About this event

Join Dr Friday’s CHRISTMAS CAN BE MURDER for an interactive true crime evening that blends dark humour with genuine forensic insight. This immersive show invites you to learn about real forensic techniques, watch a live forensic demonstration and play an active role in piecing together the evidence. Expect laughs, gasps and plenty of surprising revelations as the story unfolds.

Presented by psychologist Dr Friday, who has led the Forensic Psychology course in the Criminology Department at the University of Greenwich, the event explains the clues and common mistakes that can make or break a murder investigation. After the on-stage investigation you will be invited to a staged crime scene during an extended interval. You can examine evidence, test theories and commit to a suspect, putting newfound knowledge into practice in a hands-on investigation.

Set in the grand surroundings of the Rochester Corn Exchange, the evening includes a welcome glass of Prosecco and handcrafted canapés, with the bar open for drinks. It is an ideal festive night out for anyone fascinated by forensic science, criminal psychology and interactive theatre. Whether you are an armchair detective or simply after an unusual night out, come and see if you can help crack the case.
