Fireworks and Stargazing

Enjoy an unforgettable winter evening at Thameside Fireworks and Stargazing, hosted at the Essex Wildlife Trust Thameside Nature Discovery Park. This family-friendly event offers panoramic views across the Thameside landscape, with a superb vantage point to see neighbouring fireworks lighting the skies over the estuary, Essex and Kent. Alongside the displays there will be opportunities for stargazing, simple activities to entertain children and adults, and a chance to soak up the atmosphere of this peaceful riverside reserve.

Tickets for rooftop platform access are on sale for £3, which gives you the best view of surrounding displays. Access to the main site and parking is free. The park cafe and shop will be open throughout the evening, serving hot drinks, food and a selection of nature-inspired gifts. Please wrap up warm and bring a torch, as the car park and paths can become very dark during winter. If the weather is poor the organisers will aim to move the event indoors so the evening can continue in a warm, welcoming space.
