Experience deep relaxation at a Floating Sound Bath held at Bridgewood Manor Hotel & Spa, Blue Bell Hill, Chatham. This guided sound bath combines the comforting vibrations of crystal singing bowls with the added sensation of floating on a supported airbed in a warm pool. Floating beds are provided and assistants will help you on and off so you can settle in easily.
If you prefer to remain dry there are six comfortable loungers around the pool, and two heated tiled beds are available on an upper level for a slightly more private experience. The temperature of the tiled beds can be adjusted and you may wish to bring a blanket for extra comfort. Please also bring water and an eye mask if you find that helpful.
Sessions use low and gently changing lighting while the facilitator creates deep, restorative soundscapes. For safety and comfort, floatation devices have a maximum weight limit of 95kg, approximately 15 stone. If you are sensitive to sound, scent or light, pregnant, have epilepsy, heart or respiratory conditions, implants such as pacemakers, or other medical concerns, please consult your healthcare provider and inform the facilitator before the session.
This is a wellbeing and relaxation experience rather than medical treatment. Book early to secure your place and arrive prepared to listen to your body, rest or step out at any time if you need to.
