FREE taster session with the Rochester Rock Choir

Join the Rochester Rock Choir for a free taster session in Rochester, a friendly community choir open to beginners and experienced singers. Led by Kent musician and teacher Paul Gostling, the rehearsal will introduce you to contemporary choral repertoire, vocal skills and the choir's fun, supportive approach. Whether you want to build confidence, improve technique or simply enjoy singing with others, this session is a lively, accessible way to try the Rock Choir experience.

The session takes place on Monday 6 July 2026, 8:00pm to 9:30pm. Attendance is free but places should be booked in advance on the Rock Choir website. Wear comfortable clothing, bring a bottle of water and come prepared to sing; no audition is required and all levels are welcome. This is a great chance to meet local singers and see how the group rehearses during term time.
