Get Set Grow! Family Workshop

Join Communigrow for the Get Set Grow! Family Workshop on 24th October and enjoy a screen-free Saturday morning at their sustainable food education charity and community garden in East Malling. Suitable for children aged 4-16 with parents or carers, this hands-on session is a perfect way for families to learn about growing food, wildlife and seasonal gardening while spending time outdoors.

Activities include digging, planting, harvesting, composting and bug hunting, plus making habitats for animals and discovering the fresh food grown on site. Younger siblings are welcome but remain the full responsibility of the accompanying adult. The workshop is designed to build practical skills, encourage curiosity about nature and give children a chance to get muddy and make something they can be proud of.

Facilities include a compost toilet and hand washing on site. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to another event, though you may transfer your ticket to another attendee if you let the organisers know their name and email. For questions or same-day queries email education@communigrow.org.uk or call 07960 828173. Booking early is recommended as spaces are limited and this family-focused event is a popular way to enjoy outdoor learning and sustainable food education in the community.
