Spend a practical day on the farm learning how to grow your own food at The Wonky Parsnip's Grow Your Own Veg one-day workshop. This hands-on, outdoor course is designed to help you improve your gardening skills and get the most from a small market garden. Expect clear, practical demonstrations and plenty of time working on beds and soil so you can take home techniques you will use all season.

The workshop is led by Laura, founder of The Wonky Parsnip, and is timed for the growing season to show you what works in this climate and soil. The day covers sowing, planting, crop rotation, soil care and simple pest management, all taught in a relaxed, supportive setting at Brogdale Farm in Faversham. You will join a small group of fellow growers and gain confidence planning and maintaining productive vegetable beds.

Lunch is included, and the course celebrates the farm's tenth growing season, making it a great opportunity to learn from experienced growers and connect with others who want to grow more of their own food.
