Heath Farm College - Open Day

Wed, 18 Mar 2026 16:00 PM - 18:00 PM

Hill Place, Queen's Ave, Ferndown, ME16 0ER

Overview

Parents and carers are invited to Heath Farm College for an open event to explore admissions for September 2026. This open day and open evening is an opportunity to see the school and college in person, learn about the specialist provision and ask questions about placements, support and pathways for young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

You will be able to tour the rural Charing Heath site in Kent and hear about the Maidstone Post 16 campus which opened in January 2024. Staff will be available to explain the curriculum, therapeutic and pastoral approaches, and the practical arrangements families can expect if their child joins the college. Please note this event is suitable for parents and carers only.

Heath Farm College is an independent, co-educational day provision approved for up to 164 students aged 5 to 18 who for a variety of reasons have not sustained mainstream education. The college supports learners with a wide range of additional needs including autism spectrum conditions, speech, language and communication needs, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, attachment difficulties and conditions requiring CAMHS involvement. Students are taught in small classes with a high level of support and many travel to school by minibus or taxi from across the county.

If you are considering specialist provision for your child, join Heath Farm College to tour the facilities, meet the team and get detailed information about admissions and next steps.
