The local choir is led by singer and pianist Paul Gostling and is part of the national Rock Choir movement. Rock Choir has been praised in national press and is known for large-scale events such as a sellout O2 arena performance and memorable flash mobs that raised funds for Comic Relief. The group has won the Red Ribbon Big Heart Award and holds Guinness World Records, and rehearsals focus on fun, confidence and community as much as on great-sounding singing.
