Join the Kent & Medway Manufacturing Focus Group (KMFG) for a site visit to Countrystyle Recycling on 25th February, an unmissable opportunity for manufacturing and engineering organisations and education providers across Kent and Medway. This visit showcases sustainable waste management and resource recovery in action, with insights into Countrystyle's circular economy practices, operational efficiency and community engagement.
The day begins at 9.30am with arrival and registration, tea and coffee, followed by a 10.00am introduction to Countrystyle Recycling and an overview of their operations, people policy and community outreach. You will see how innovative recycling processes turn waste into valuable resources, learn best practice in waste reduction and explore how sustainability can drive operational performance.
Please note KMFG is a closed group set up to support local manufacturing and engineering organisations, but for this site visit the one-representative-per-organisation rule has been relaxed. Booking via the webpage is an expression of interest and attendance will be confirmed by email. If the visit reaches capacity a waiting list will operate and only registered attendees will be admitted. Pictures may be taken during the event; let the organisers know in advance if you do not wish to be photographed.
Personal protective equipment is required on-site: safety shoes, a hi-visibility jacket, safety glasses and a hard hat. Specify at registration which items you need Countrystyle to supply and sizes will be confirmed. Visitor parking, a site map and directions to Ridham will be provided ahead of the visit.
