Kent and Medway: Menopause & Cancer Support Sessions

Tue, 19 May 2026 17:30 PM - 19:00 PM

Alexander Centre, The, 15-17 Preston St, Faversham, ME13 8NZ

Overview

Join a friendly, expert-led community support session for people experiencing menopause after cancer. Session 2 focuses on practical ways to manage hot flushes, night sweats and sleep problems, with time to ask questions and share experiences in a supportive environment. The session takes place in the Charter Rooms at the Alexander Centre in Kent and Medway.

Across four monthly sessions the group explores different aspects of menopause after cancer. Each meeting combines clear, evidence-informed information from specialists with practical tips you can use at home, plus open discussion so you can hear from others facing similar challenges. The emphasis is on realistic strategies to improve daily wellbeing and sleep quality.

These sessions are designed to help you feel better informed, reassured and less alone. You will leave with useful ideas, signposted resources and a better understanding of where to find further help. Whether you are seeking answers, connection or simply a safe space to talk, the group welcomes people at every stage of their menopause and cancer journey.

All sessions are free and open to anyone affected by menopause after cancer. The project is supported by NHS Kent and Medway and is intended to offer practical support and community for local people. Please join us to learn, share and find support.
