Learn to Play Poker

Learn to Play Poker (Social Club) is a relaxed, beginner-friendly session at Parkwood Community Association in Gillingham. Whether you have always wanted to try poker or want to learn the basics, this welcoming event covers hand rankings, betting rounds, simple strategy, bluffing and table etiquette in a friendly setting. Sessions are informal and social, designed for adults who want to learn by playing rather than studying theory.

Players sit at tables of 6 to 8 and receive guidance from experienced volunteers, with plenty of practice hands to build confidence. There is a £5 buy-in and no experience is necessary.
