Join Boots On Adventures for the Len Valley Walk, a scenic long distance trail through some of Kents most peaceful and historically rich countryside. This linear walk follows the gentle course of the River Len, taking in idyllic farmland, woodland paths and classic Kentish scenery. Along the route you will pass notable local landmarks including Leeds Castle, the elegant grounds of Chilston Park Hotel and the rustic charm of Oast House Farm. The trail blends nature, heritage and tranquillity, making it equally appealing to experienced walkers and anyone after a relaxed day outdoors.
The event takes place on 4 April 2026. Meet at Maidstone East Station at 09:15 for a 09:30 start. The walk finishes at Lenham Train Station. Expect approximately 20.5 km (13 miles) of mixed terrain with a total walking time of around six hours including a lunch break. The route is graded moderate because of the overall distance. Everyone who completes the trail will receive a commemorative medal.
Practical information: the train ticket back to Maidstone East is not included and car parking charges are not included. Wear sturdy walking boots, bring plenty of water, a packed lunch and layered clothing for changing weather.
