Lissa Evans is the author of seven novels, including Small Bomb at Dimperley and Their Finest Hour and a Half, the latter later adapted into the film Their Finest. She is also known for the Old Baggage trilogy, which comprises Old Baggage, Crooked Heart and V for Victory. Before turning to fiction she worked in television comedy, most notably as a producer on the cult classic Father Ted, a contribution that earned her a BAFTA and remains a landmark of British and Irish comedy.
Evans has written books for readers of all ages, including the childrens titles Small Change for Stuart and Wed Wabbit, both shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal.
