About this event

A medieval river pulses beneath Maidstone's modern streets, echoing with secrets that shaped the Borough's fate. This is a self-guided audio tour on your phone, lasting 1 hour 28 minutes with 12 stops, including Maidstone Museum, Hazlitt Theatre and Borough of Maidstone.

Download the free AudaTours app on your phone and enter the redemption code that arrives by email; download once and the whole thing works offline. Walk to the first stop and press play — the audio for each landmark starts automatically as you approach it 🌳

There is no fixed date and no start time. A smartphone with Android 7.0 or later, or iOS 16 or later is needed; bring headphones and a charged phone. It does not include entry to any building or site along the route, and there is no in-person guide.
