Makaton Level Two Training — 21 Together

Join our Makaton Level Two training in Maidstone to build on your existing skills and gain a recognised Level Two certificate. Led by experienced Makaton Tutor Trina Pollard, this practical course is for anyone in Kent who cares for or works directly with a child or young person with Down's syndrome. Participants must have completed Level One and hold the certificate before attending.

Level Two covers Stages 3 and 4 and around half of the additional vocabulary, adding roughly 125 new concepts alongside further theory and tips for putting Makaton into practice in your setting. You will receive a take-home manual containing course materials, signs and symbols, and your certificate. The manual cost of £21 is included in the ticket price.

The course runs at Maidstone Community Support Centre, 39-48 Marsham Street, Maidstone ME14 1HH from 9:30am to 3:30pm; please arrive by 9:15am. Bring a packed lunch as only tea and coffee are provided. Tickets are priced to keep training accessible and 21 Together offers a financial support policy on request for those who need assistance. This hands-on workshop is ideal for parents, carers and professionals looking to improve communication and inclusion through Makaton.
