Medway Lonely Laptop Club brings together remote workers across Medway who want company, conversation and a break from the isolation of working alone. If you work from a home office, a café, a relative's house or anywhere outside a conventional workplace, this friendly community meetup offers a chance to meet like-minded people and build new friendships while you get on with your tasks.
We meet every last Friday of the month at Dragon Coworking. Attendees can use hotdesking facilities between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm and enjoy unlimited tea, coffee and bakery-fresh treats while they work. The group is relaxed and welcoming, suitable for anyone who wants the company of others during their working day, whether for focused time, casual chat or to exchange tips about remote working.
Practical information is shared to make your arrival easy. Parking is limited, so please park and stride where possible. There is free parking on-site at Dragon Coworking but please do not use the hotel main car park. The rear car park is on Gundulph Road, Rochester ME4 4ED; there are short walks from New Road, Fort Pitt Hill and Chatham locations. If arriving by train, Chatham station is a short walk and Rochester is about 20 minutes on foot.
