Medway PSG Girls Only Year 5/6 Cricket

Join the Medway Primary School Girls only Cricket Festival for pupils in Years 5 and 6 at The Howard School, Derwent Way, Rainham, Gillingham, Kent ME8 0BX on Thursday 11th June 2026. This friendly grass tournament gives girls the chance to play in a supportive, organised environment, develop cricketing skills and enjoy a day of team sport. Squads should consist of 10 girls, and matches will be scheduled throughout the day from 9.30am to around 3pm to 4pm, with exact times dependent on the number of teams entered.

Student sport leaders and experienced adult coaches and organisers will be on hand to support coaching and umpiring, making this an ideal opportunity for participants to learn game awareness, teamwork and leadership. Schools are invited to enter teams and should prepare squads ready to represent their pupils for a full day of activity on the school playing fields. The festival emphasises participation, fair play and enjoyment, while offering competitive matches tailored for Years 5 and 6.
