Medway Talks is a free open lecture series presented by the Universities at Medway: the University of Greenwich, University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University. Running monthly from November 2025 to May 2026, the programme invites local residents, students and staff to evening talks that explore science, health, innovation and public life. Most lectures run from 18:00 to 19:15 with registration and refreshments from 17:30; the December session will run 18:00 to 20:00 to accommodate two speakers. All events are held in the Ground Floor Lecture Theatre (room 20) at Rowan Williams Court on the Medway campus. Parking is available free of charge in Rowan Williams Court or University of Greenwich car parks, and directions are provided on the universities' transport pages.
The series features a variety of expert-led talks, from the science of food pairing and festive wellness to clear-eyed discussions about ADHD and autism and the latest advances in medical innovation. Speakers include academics and clinicians from the three partner universities, offering evidence-based insight and time for audience questions. Talks are free but places are limited and booking is required for each session. Join Medway Talks to hear leading researchers explain complex ideas in plain language, connect with the local community and be inspired by new ways of thinking about health, science and everyday life.
