Medway Wind Band

Medway Wind Band welcomes woodwind, brass and percussion players of Grade 2 standard and above to join a friendly, ambitious ensemble based in Rainham, Gillingham. Rehearsing each Saturday as part of MMA's Saturday Music Centre at Rainham Mark Grammar School, the band is led by Graham Mann and performs a varied programme that ranges from stirring wind band classics to toe-tapping pop hits and memorable film and show tunes. Double bass and bass guitar players are also welcome, adding depth and energy to the ensemble sound.

This is an ideal opportunity to make music with like-minded players, develop ensemble skills and build confidence in performance. Whether you are returning to playing after a break or looking to expand your repertoire, the Medway Wind Band offers supportive rehearsals and chances to perform for local audiences. The group emphasises musical development, teamwork and enjoyment, making it a rewarding choice for dedicated young musicians and adult players at Grade 2 level and above.
