Medway Wind Band

Medway Wind Band invites woodwind, brass and percussion players of Grade 2 standard and above to join a friendly and ambitious community ensemble. Rehearsals take place every Saturday at the MMA Saturday Music Centre held at Rainham Mark Grammar School, Pump Lane, Rainham, Gillingham ME8 7AJ. Under the direction of Graham Mann the band explores a varied repertoire, from classic wind band favourites to energetic pop arrangements and memorable film and show tunes.

This group is also welcoming to double bass and bass guitar players, helping to broaden the ensemble sound and repertoire choices. Playing with the Medway Wind Band is a great opportunity to develop technique, gain ensemble experience and build performance confidence in a supportive setting. Players can expect structured rehearsals, friendly peer support and chances to perform for local audiences during the year.
