Medway Wind Band

Medway Wind Band welcomes woodwind, brass and percussion players of Grade 2 standard and above to join a friendly, ambitious community of musicians. Led by Graham Mann, the band rehearses every Saturday as part of MMA's Saturday Music Centre at Rainham Mark Grammar School, Pump Lane, Rainham, Gillingham ME8 7AJ.

Our rehearsals cover a wide and engaging repertoire, from stirring traditional wind band classics to toe-tapping pop hits and memorable film and show tunes. Double bass and bass guitar players are also welcome, adding depth and colour to the ensemble's sound. Whether you are building confidence, sharpening ensemble skills or preparing for performances, this is a great place to make music with like-minded players.

Players can expect supportive direction, varied music and opportunities to perform for local audiences as part of Medway Music Association activities. The band is ideal for younger musicians and adults who meet the Grade 2 plus requirement and who enjoy collaborative playing in a full wind band setting.
