Medway Wind Band

Medway Wind Band welcomes woodwind, brass and percussion players of Grade 2 standard and above to join a friendly, community-focused ensemble in Rainham. Rehearsing every Saturday at MMAs Saturday Music Centre, the band is led by Graham Mann and enjoys a varied repertoire that ranges from traditional wind band classics to toe-tapping pop hits and memorable film and show tunes. Double bass and bass guitar players are also encouraged to take part, adding depth to the groups sound.

Based at Rainham Mark Grammar School, Pump Lane, Gillingham ME8 7AJ, the band offers players a chance to develop ensemble skills, build confidence and perform music that excites audiences across Medway. Sessions are ideal for those who want regular ensemble experience in a supportive environment, whether you are returning to playing or progressing from individual lessons to group performance.
