Mickeys Training Sunday

Mickeys Training Sunday is a friendly, practical motorcycling training session run by Southern Riders for riders of all abilities. The event forms part of The Training Ride School and supports riders preparing for RoSPA and RoADAR assessments, with experienced instructors on hand for initial assessments and ongoing coaching. The focus is on improving skills, roadcraft and confidence in a supportive group environment.

Participants are invited to arrive early for coffee and a chat from 8:45am, with instructor allocation and the first training activities commencing at 9:30am. There is no need to book or register in advance; simply turn up and take part. Please note that sessions are automatically cancelled if the overnight temperature is 3C or below, with BBC Weather used as the official source for that decision.

This session is open to all club members and visitors, and all members should carry their membership card on club activities. Whether you are preparing for a test, refreshing your skills or joining for a regular ride training morning, Mickeys Training Sunday offers structured coaching, peer support and a relaxed atmosphere to help you ride safer and ride better.
