Mickeys Training Sunday

Mickeys Training Sunday is a practical group session run by Southern Riders for motorcyclists looking to develop rider skills, take part in Training Ride School activities and prepare for RoSPA or RoADAR assessments. The event runs on October 4, 8:30am to 2:00pm (UTC+0) and is aimed at riders of all abilities who want coached practice, assessor-led feedback and safe, structured riding exercises.

Arrive early for coffee and informal chat from 8:45am. Instructor allocation for initial assessments and ongoing training commences at 9:30am, so allow time to register on arrival. There is no need to book or register in advance; simply turn up and join the group. Sessions cover ride planning, machine control and observational skills relevant to road riding and formal testing.

Sessions will be automatically cancelled if the overnight temperature is 3 degrees Celsius or below, with the club using BBC Weather as the official information source for cancellations. All members should carry their membership card on club activities.
