Monthly Bereavement Support Circle – A Safe Space for Grief

Sat, 14 Mar 2026 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

70 Silverweed Rd, Chatham, ME5 0QX

Overview

Monthly Bereavement Support Circle offers a compassionate, confidential space in Chatham for anyone living with loss. Held on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00 to midday at The Net Community Hub, 70 Silverweed Road, ME5 0QX, this two-hour session is a gentle, peer-led gathering where grief is allowed to breathe and where people can find understanding and connection.

The circle is a supportive community rather than formal therapy, and there is no pressure to speak. Sessions may include quiet discussion and guidance on topics such as understanding grief beyond the early days, managing triggers and vulnerability, holding space safely for strong emotions, boundaries and emotional safety, and rebuilding confidence in life after loss. Low-cost refreshments will be available and donations are welcome, though attendance is free.

Facilitated by Jude, a grief coach, energy healer and life-after-loss mentor with over 30 years of lived experience and professional support work, the group is open to anyone whether their loss is recent or many years ago. Spaces are limited to keep the circle safe and supportive, so early booking is recommended. If you are carrying grief and looking for a warm, non-judgemental place to be seen and heard, you are warmly invited to join this monthly gathering.
