Musical Bumps - Musical Bumps for 1 to 2 year olds

Musical Bumps is a lively, age-specific music class for young children held at Bredhurst Village Hall in Gillingham. Suitable for toddlers aged around 1 to 2 years, the Wednesday morning session mixes songs, rhymes, movement and simple instruments in a warm, friendly environment. Sessions are designed so little ones can respond in their own way while adults join in to boost engagement and confidence.

Classes use puppets, props and real live music to encourage singing, listening and movement. Each session follows a gentle structure but allows freedom for children to explore sound, rhythm and action. Activities support early social skills, communication, early literacy and numeracy foundations, plus those first musical skills that help with school readiness. Parents and carers are invited to take an active role so children feel safe and excited to participate.

Term-time weekly classes are available for preschool children from newborn up to four years, with age-specific groups across Medway.
