NCT Medway Baby & Child first aid

Join NCT Medway for a practical Baby & Child First Aid workshop at the Moat House Coffee Shop. This interactive two-hour session, delivered by quality-assured Mini First Aid trainers, covers the essential skills parents and carers need to cope with common injuries and emergencies. Topics include CPR for babies and children, dealing with choking, treating burns and cuts, recognising signs of meningitis and sepsis, and other everyday first-aid responses. The course mixes demonstration and hands-on practice so you leave with confidence and practical know-how.

Non-mobile babies are welcome to attend, but older babies and children cannot be accommodated because of the nature of the course. The session begins at 11:00, with doors open from 10:45 so you can grab a drink and chat with other parents and parents-to-be. Mini First Aid work in partnership with the First Aid Industry Body, the Children’s Burns Trust, the Meningitis Research Foundation and the Sepsis Trust, ensuring teaching is informed by current medical guidance. Whether you are a new parent or caring for a toddler, this friendly workshop aims to give you reassurance and the skills to act calmly in an emergency.
